FIRE / EXPLOSION (PUMP ROOM)

Ref. Emergency, Fire at sea and Fire in port
Inform Master / Terminal / Sound alarm
If possible, start immediate action
Stop immediately all operations, close valves, remove any craft alongside
Evacuate from the vicinity all personnel. Close doors, openings and tank apertures. Stop ventilation and sources of ignition
Manoeuvre ship to allow fire to be attacked from windward
Inform Company, Local P & I and any relevant third party
Enter any measure and/or action taken in logbook
