RELEASE OF CHEMICALS OR OIL GAS

Stop all operation and inform Master
Check compartments pump room, etc.
Close cargo / bunker valves
Consider risks of explosion prior to start ventilation
Locate leakage
If it is not possible to enter the compartment, consider transfer of cargo to make the tank empty
Inert the tank to be enter
Prevent gas to enter accommodation
Inform Company and any third party if necessary (especially the P & I Club)
Enter all measures and/or actions taken into logbook.<:
